About Us

Stan is a West Coast atelier where stories are woven into every thread. We breathe new life into rare, antique textiles, transforming them into timeless, one-of-a-kind pieces that echo the beauty of their origins. With each discovery, we unveil a singular masterpiece—an artifact of history reimagined. No two are alike, ensuring every creation is as unique as the story it tells. Explore our ever-evolving collection, and claim your place in its narrative. Once gone, these treasures can never be replicated.

Our Process

Our Process is an odyssey of relentless exploration and devotion. We traverse the farthest reaches of the globe, from bustling bazaars to forgotten attics, to uncover textiles steeped in history and soul. Each piece is a treasure unearthed through countless hours of searching and piecing together fragments of the past.

We delve into remote villages, scale mountainous regions, and sift through centuries-old collections to find textiles that speak to a moment in time—each imbued with the artistry, craftsmanship, and culture of its origin. These storied fabrics, preserved through generations, are then brought into our virtual gallery, ready to be reborn. Tailored to your exact measurements, every garment becomes a wearable artifact, connecting you to a narrative that spans continents and centuries.

I am a craftsman by trade. My medium: dirt stained remnants of tattered, worn textiles, ingrained with stories of hand woven fibers. There is history awaiting discovery, buried in the deepest corners of the world. A medium that allows me to peer into faraway culture, ritual, religion, and family heritage. I live in the perpetual search for such things. Stories relayed from the past; translated through centuries. The goal of Stan is to re-contextualize stories into clothing, and allow long lost memories to live on.
