Handwoven from hemp and wool grown on family farms in the Carpathian Mountain region about 100-120 years ago, featuring a complex weave. Naturally dyed using roots and plants such as the madder plant. Two lengths were joined with a primitive seam to form a full blanket, often repurposed for heavy winter.
